Alivia is Five!

Finally, after photographing her brother and sisters, I got to have a session with Miss Alivia!  She likes pink cupcake frosting and modeling (obviously).  Do they get  much cuter than this?  I don’t think so!

And Baby Makes Three

I don’t normally do a lot of newborn sessions.  They’re not really my “thing”.  So with little man Jett, I decided on a lifestyle type of shoot.  The beauty in this is in the simplicity and reality of the pictures.  So relaxed and easy.  Mom and dad already look like old pros.  He’s such a blessed little boy,  and doesn’t even know it yet.  Excuse the sheer number of pics; it was just too hard to choose.

Louisiana Kinfolk

Cousins are supposed to be forever friends, and cousin Keri definitely fits the bill!  My husband’s “Louisiana kinfolk” came for a visit this summer.  She brought her family (gorgeous girls, right?) and her lifelong BFF.  A great day with a beautiful family on the beautiful beach. Doesn’t get much better than that!

All in the Family

I’m sure most of you can relate to family that has grown farther away as they’ve grown older, and mine is no different.  We took advantage of having our niece come for a visit to gather the clan for a family photo op.  Love them so very, very much!

Awaiting His Arrival

Remember the gender reveal from a few months ago?  It’s all so exciting!! He was born very shortly after this maternity session, and you’ll see his lifestyle newborn photos as soon as I can get them blogged.  But for now, heeeeeere’s mommy (and daddy)!

It’s a Boy!

This was so much fun! I can see why the baby reveal party is becoming such a trend.  Not even mom and dad knew!  I was presented with a sealed envelope, and the rest is history.  This is such a wonderful family, and they are being blessed with a baby boy.  Congrats, y’all!

Senioritis

Yes, it’s a real thing.  Just ask Kellie.  She’s so close she can see the finish line!  She has such a sweet spirit and big heart, there is no doubt she has a wonderful life awaiting her after high school is (finally) over.  Eden Gardens is almost as lovely as she is, but not quite. 🙂

All Dressed Up

See this group of well-dressed ladies and gentlemen?  Get a good look, y’all, because they’re going places.  Specifically, prom. 🙂  I’ve known some of them for several years, and others have just met.  Either way, I’m a big fan!

One and Only

Oh to be one again.  It would be socially acceptable to publicly devour chocolate cake sans utensils…*sigh*.  I suppose restaurant owners would tire of the mess, and our dry cleaners wouldn’t be very happy either.  Dangit!  Thankfully, Baby G knows nothing of social rules just yet.  Bring on the chocolate cake!

Very Very Merry

If you’ve followed this blog at all, these will be some familiar faces.  My best girl, Mabel, and her family had their annual session with me, and they just get better by the year!  I love them all so much, and look forward to many many more family portraits.
